Arnold's Blueprint

If anyone knows what it takes to become a world champion it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger. So far he’s been a bodybuilder, actor, director, producer, businessman, investor and politician. He isn't just pretty good at those things either, he's dominated the competition and is considered one of the most successful people ever.

I came across this video on "ESPN: 30 for 30" films. It's 12 minutes that has inspired and challenged me. Every one of us has goals and dreams, the only difference between us as individuals is that some of us take our eyes off the dream which literally kills us. After all, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick." Then there are others who press into the dream regardless of how painful, lonely and costly it can be and they are some of the happiest, healthiest people in the world.

Each person’s dream is different and requires us to do things in order for it become a reality. So whatever your dream is - it matters. My dream is that families experience life fully alive together for a very long time and I’ll do whatever it takes for that to happen. My wife wants to be the best at home mom she can be to take care of our family. My dream is no greater or lesser than hers, it’s just different.

What if someone tells you your dream sucks? Or that it’s never going to happen? What if those who’s opinions matter most to you reject the very thing that means so much to you? Will you still move forward? What if that has already happened to you? It’s harder living in the regret of not pursuing your dream isn’t it? But it’s not too late. There is hope.

I want to know what your dream is ... What is that thing that you could do every day for the rest of your life even if you never made a penny from it? How have you been pursuing it? When you watch this short video you’ll see that Arnold went through HUGE struggles in order to make his dream a reality. What road blocks have come up against in your own life? What’s discouraging you? What’s inspiring you? How can you relate to what Arnold went through? What's the next step towards you dream?

I want to hear your comments. Send me a message on facebook or send an email to createdtomove@gmail.com
